Energy Engineer Consultan
We are an established Low Carbon process optimisation consultancy based in Rugby Warwickshire, looking to recruit a qualified Engineer to join our expanding operation. You will be responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing low carbon process optimisation and cost reduction strategies for clients in the manufacturing sector. As a consultant, you will be expected to develop good client relationships and meet sales objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:
- BSc Hons Engineering: Grade 2:1 or above

Salary
c.£30,000 - £50,000 OTE - depending on age and experience.
Core duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Carrying out energy efficiency reviews at our clients manufacturing facilities
- Writing and delivering energy audit reports
- Developing Low Carbon process optimisation and cost reduction strategies for the manufacturing sector
- Designing and costing automated energy metering and monitoring systems
- Identifying energy cost reduction opportunities and designing and accurately costing specific energy efficiency and Low Carbon alternative solutions
- Designing of energy efficient ancillary equipment solutions including lighting, heating, compressed air generation and distribution systems and Power Factor Correction systems.
- The preparation of quotations and selling concepts to the clients
- Project management of the installation of Low Carbon engineering solutions including procurement and management of sub-contractors
- Keeping up to date with changes in the energy and environmental regulatory framework relating to the manufacturing sector
Minimum Qualifications:
- BSc Hons Engineering: Grade 2:1 or above
Essential skills & experience:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar engineering role within the manufacturing environment.
- Experience in designing energy efficient ancillary equipment solutions such as lighting, heating, compressed air generation, distribution systems and Power Factor Correction systems.
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent technical report and proposal writing skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Good communication
- Proven ability to manage sub-contractors
- Ability to meet sales targets
- A clean UK driving license
- Desirable skills & experience:
- Knowledge of ESOS, ISO50001, and compliance such as CCA, CRC and EU ETS
- Experience in design and project management of the installation of renewable technologies including solar arrays, biomass, and CHP plant
