Pro Enviro Leads Worcester's Industrial Clusters Decarbonisation Study and Workshop
Commissioned by Worcester City Council, the study mapped energy use across three major industrial estates and was presented at the Worcester Industrial Clusters Decarbonisation Workshop.
The study identified shared solar, wind, smart monitoring, and other cluster-based opportunities for collective cost and carbon savings.
588 Businesses, £13.7M Saved, 27,765 Tonnes of Carbon Cut
After supporting 588 businesses across the West Midlands, Pro Enviro has published a new impacts report showing £13.7M in annual savings and 27,765 tCO₂e reduced.
The standout finding is that energy‑intensive manufacturers - just 18% of participants - delivered 57% of all carbon savings and 52% of financial savings. The carbon impact per company is 6.7x higher than in the SME cohort.
