Historic manufacturer eyes green growth with net zero funding

A 100-year-old Black Country manufacturing firm run by the great grandson of its founder is entering a new era of green growth backed by Mayor Richard Parker’s multi-million-pound support programme for the region’s businesses.

The Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS) Pilot is operational in the West Midlands ITL1 region until 31March 2026 and is being delivered locally by the Combined Authority with various county councils, universities and private sector companies.
